Refund Policy

Last updated: April 7, 2026

This page explains how Alley AI handles trial eligibility, cancellations, renewals, and refund requests for subscriptions billed through Stripe. It is intended to match the current product and billing flow.

1. Trial Offers

Alley AI may offer a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscriptions. If a trial is shown in Stripe Checkout, you will not be charged until the trial ends unless you cancel first.

Trial eligibility may be limited to one trial per customer, account, or billing profile. We may deny repeat trials where prior use, abuse-prevention, or billing history indicates the account is not eligible.

2. Cancellations

You can cancel an active subscription through the Alley AI billing settings or the Stripe customer portal made available through your account. When you cancel, renewal is typically set to stop at the end of the current billing period.

Cancellation stops future renewal charges. It does not usually create a prorated refund for the portion of the billing period you already paid for.

3. Standard Refund Rule

Except where required by law, subscription charges are generally non-refundable once paid. This includes partial billing periods, unused time, unused feature limits, and plan access you chose not to use.

4. Refund Requests We May Review

We may review refund requests on a case-by-case basis, especially for:

  • Duplicate charges or clear billing errors.
  • Charges made immediately after a documented failed cancellation attempt.
  • Material Alley AI platform failures that prevented access to the paid service for a significant portion of the billing period.

As a general guideline, requests are most likely to be considered when submitted within 14 days of the initial paid charge after a trial converts or a new subscription begins.

5. Situations That Normally Are Not Refundable

  • Charges after a trial ends when the subscription was not canceled before the renewal date.
  • Partial-period usage after a subscription renewed successfully.
  • Feature limitations or outages caused by third-party platforms, including TikTok approval changes, creator-level restrictions, or external API outages.
  • Accounts suspended for violations of our Terms or Acceptable Use Policy.

6. How Refunds Are Processed

If we approve a refund, it is generally returned to the original payment method through Stripe. Processing times depend on Stripe, your card network, and your bank.

7. Contact for Billing Help

For billing issues or refund requests, email [email protected] from the email address on your account and include the reason for your request.
